The formulation has not changed on Herpecin L. We did change the packaging of Herpecin L, but rest
assured the formulation stayed the same. The name also changed to Herpecin L Everyday Protection
since you can use it everyday to help keep lips in great shape and protected against some cold sore
triggers.

Herpecin L can provide protection against common environmental cold sore triggers, such as dry,
cracked lips from cold weather, wind, and too much UV exposure. Because of this, Herpecin L is a great
way to keep your lips protected against those common cold sore triggers when used every day.

Yes, you can use both Herpecin products together. Herpecin L Pain Relief should only be applied
directly to the cold sore or fever blister area.

Herpecin L Pain Relief provides triple action relief for when you have an active cold sore or fever
blister. It numbs the pain and itching of a cold sore right at the source, protects against infection of open
colds sores and fever blisters, and helps to prevent painful cracking of the cold sore area while it heals.
The original Herpecin L is now called Herpecin L Everyday Protection for cold sores and fever blisters and
can be used all over the lips. It locks in moisture, prevents painful cracking, and forms a powerful SPF 30
barrier to help protect against future flare ups caused by the sun. It can be used every day to protect
from the external triggers that can cause cold sores (wind, UV exposure, cracking).
